Chinook Rotary Youth Programs
Take a look at some of the Youth Programs that Chinook Rotary supports:
Interact
The Chinook Rotary club supports the Interact clubs at Henry Wise Wood High School and Dr. E. P. Scarlett High School. Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills and learn about the world through service projects and activities. They can energize and inspire young leaders through service and encourage them to become responsible global citizens.

Further information on Interact Clubs can be found at: Rotary International

Mentoring
Chinook Rotary partners with Roots 2 STEM and Fairview School to provide a STEM education program with Chinook Rotary. Club members provide mentoring and fellowship to participants resulting in a high level of engagement. The program helps build self-esteem and confidence while using experiential learning in the Lab of Discovery building STEM projects.

RYLA

RYLA events are organized locally by Chinook Rotary for participants ages 14 - 30. Depending on community needs, RYLA may take the form of a one-day seminar, a three-day retreat, or a week-long camp. Typically, events last 3-10 days and include presentations, activities, and workshops covering a variety of topics.

Chinook Rotary might host a RYLA event for secondary school students to hone their leadership potential, for university students to develop creative problem-solving strategies, or for young professionals to learn ethical business practices.

RYLA participants are nominated by Chinook Rotary members.
