Welcome
The Calgary Rotary Clubs Foundation (CRCF) exists to ensure long-term financial sustainability for Rotary projects in Calgary and beyond. Through CRCF, funds contributed by Rotarians and their supporters are carefully managed and invested, generating ongoing financial support for member clubs.
CRCF is not a granting organization but a steward of funds. The Foundation holds and invests donations made by individual Rotarians and clubs, ensuring that returns are maximized while maintaining financial security. Every year, a portion of the earnings from these investments is distributed back to participating clubs in proportion to their share of the total fund. This model provides a stable and growing source of funding that helps clubs support both local and international initiatives.
Since its inception, CRCF has reinvested over $25 million into Rotary-led initiatives. In 2023 alone, more than $2.6 million was distributed to member clubs. The Foundation currently manages a pooled fund of over $60 million, built through the generosity of Rotarians who have contributed through direct donations, bequests, and planned giving.
By donating to CRCF, Rotarians ensure that Rotary’s ability to do good in the world is preserved for future generations. Contributions may be made in various ways, including one-time gifts, legacy donations, and named funds.
